Weather Cancellation Policy
Since we rent our fields from the Milwaukee Park System, they have final say on whether we can play. They typically advise us on cancellations no later 5:00pm on game day. If we’re canceled, the captains will immediately receive an email and a cancellation notice will also be posted on our Facebook page. If you don’t hear from us, you can assume games are on. Also, please keep in mind we’re at the mercy of the Milwaukee Grounds Crew, so if it rains heavily the previous night there’s a chance they may not get the fields playable for us the following day.
Last Minute Rain
If bad weather starts rolling in after 5pm (or mid game), we’ll immediately post the cancellation on our Facebook page. Those scenarios are always the toughest to determine so we’ll do our best to get answers for you as quickly as possible so as not to inconvenience anyone. We encourage all players to have an account on LeagueApps and LIKE our Facebook page so we can best communication any cancellations that arise.
Rain Delays
If a storm rolls in while games are going on but the radar shows it’ll pass quickly, we’ll institute a 15 minute rain delay. Games will play on after 15 minutes if the weather clears up. If the delay continues beyond 15 minutes, the game will be rescheduled from the point it was paused.
Please keep in mind, a game is considered 'complete' if teams complete 4 innings.
